Please join us at 5pm where we'll be welcoming you with a glass of fizz in the grand entrance hall. Take the time to enjoy the stunning surroundings and catch up with friends and family.

Live Jazz

17:30 to 19:15

Offering a sophisticated set of jazz classics, Take Two are certain to leave you with your toes tappin' and fingers clicking. Three outstanding jazz musicians (piano, bass, sax) who cover a range of well-known jazz standards from the likes of such as Gershwin, Miles Davis and Cole Porter.

We will be serving enough buffet food to keep you partying.

Live Band

20:00 to Midnight

A combination of fantastic live music and dynamic DJ sets from Floral Moustache. Sure to keep toes tapping and the dance floor full.

Dress Code

Formal / Black tie / Cocktail Dress is very much encouraged. However, please feel free to look fabulous in whatever you are comfortable in.

After Events

We'd love to spend some time with you.

If at all possible, we'd love to see you before or after the event, especially if you're coming from further afield. But we appreciate it's during school time.

Things To Do

If you're travelling from further afield, why not make a weekend of it? There are plenty of things to do.

    Recommended

    If you arrive early, you might want to visit the Carlton Towers Tea Room, where you can sit in the vineyard and eat a light lunch. It is open from 09:00-16:00.

  • Visit York, the Roman gem of Yorkshire.
  • Selby is an average market town, but Selby Abbey, is one of the best cathedrals in the UK (and free!). In one of the windows you can see the inspiration for the USA flag.
  • For those that like their WWII history, the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington was once home to the north's Bomber Command. Oh and pay us a visit in Barlow and we can show you our field where the R33-class airships were built during WWI!
  • If you're looking for hiking then I thouroughly recommend the North York Moors.
  • If you're happy to travel a bit further, the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and towns within are stunning. One of the best hikes with kids is around Ilkley moor. It's close to Ilkley which is really nice and has loads of neolithic (6000-4000 years ago) carved stones like the famous Swastika Stone.

Is there a dress code?

As we are getting to spend the evening in such beautiful surroundings we wanted to take the opportunity to dress for the occasion. Formal / Black tie/ Cocktail Dress is very much encouraged. However, please feel free to look fabulous in whatever you are comfortable in.

Is there food?

We wanted to party more than sit and eat, so we're serving a buffet. There will be enough food for everyone, but nothing too fancy. We'll do our best to offer some veggie options. I will add a menu when I have one.
